I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, especially thanks to its fantastic central location, which made it very convenient to explore the city. I would like to give a special mention to Ginevra, whose professionalism and kindness truly stood out. She went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city!
Excellent communication, was able to check in online, then access the room early on the day of arrival. Very friendly and helpful front of house staff, efficient and welcoming, the even charged my phone.. At breakfast the staff were professional and friendly, they kept the various foods topped up, tables were wiped down promptly and no plates etc allowed to build up on vacated tables. We noticed that the hot drinks machine was cleaned properly inside and pout after the breakfast service was over, an excellent sign of high hygiene standards. All in all a very comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel to others visiting Manchester.

We had an overnight stay for a concert at the nearby AO Arena. The hotel was ideally located for the arena, shops bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had one of the best continental style breakfasts we'd ever had anywhere. Overall a very pleasant stay for a very reasonable price.

A great hotel right in the heart of everything. The lady on reception was really friendly and very helpful, she took the time to make conversation, excellent customer service skills. The room was lovely and clean. Great shower in bathroom. Room was a little on small side but it was adequate for what we needed. The bed was very comfy with a good mattress. Pillows were great too. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel it definitely served our needs.
Very central location. Cosy and comfortable. Nice decor. The shower was disappointingly weak. The shower unit was modern and nice but was a little slippery on the smooth surface. Lucky I tested the safe in the room without putting anything in it first. It said error after it locked and would not open again. I didn't bother getting it unlocked.
Amazing hotel friendly staff
Beautiful place at amazing location! Friendly staff and excellent service. Our room was perfectly clean and spotless, and we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. Breakfast was very satisfactory.
Great hotel, clean and smart and reasonably priced, will use it again. Breakfast option is great, though I would advise it is a very European style (which I like). The reception staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Lovely hotel. My only complaint was the air con wasn't great and the rooms were a little bit too warm but the rest was lovely. Bar area was nice, staff were friendly, we've stayed at this hotel twice and it's a great location 👍🏻
We stayed at this hotel on my sister’s recommendation, as she’s a regular guest. When we arrived, the room was very cold, so we reported it to reception. A lady tried to fix it, but it stayed cold until a kind gentleman named Maguy came to our room. He reassured us that he’d do everything he could to make us feel comfortable. I was already in a bad mood, as I had traveled from London to honor my late mother and visit her grave. Maguy’s kind words and attitude uplifted me and made me want to enjoy my short stay in Manchester. Good service after that.

Great location, great room, decent breakfast - and a decent price too. The only downside? No parking, but there are plenty of options. I'd recommend using the Piccadilly Plaza parking - less than 5 minutes walk away.
Great experience. The location of the motel was perfect for us. The receptionist, Evie, on check in was lovely. Very genuine and helpful. What a great representative of your company. The check in process was quick and efficient. No one wants to hang around the foyer going through a long process. The room was perfect and well designed. Small but everything we needed. The safe built into the bedside table was cleaver. Very modern very clean room with disposable recyclable cups. I never previously used glasses or cups in rooms as I was not convinced that they had been cleaned properly. No noise from outside and blackout curtains were great. 12 noon checkout is a great idea. Even though we checked out early and our cases were stored, it is a great idea for those travelling for celebrations or business. The continental breakfast was clever. Well-designed and the products were great. Good that you try to use as much local produce as possible. Extra touches made breakfast a good experience. We had a great experience and will continue using this brand.

I had an excellent 1 night stay at the Motel One, Royal Exchange. I was greeted on arrival by Ginevra on the front desk who helpfully assisted me throughout my stay and is a real credit to the hotel. The hotel is in a very convenient location - within a short walking distance of many city centre amenities. The rooms are suitably appointed, clean and comfortable.

Excellent location and value for money. The room was well appointed. Check in staff were excellent and so friendly. The hotel is spotless and has a cool design making it feel more expensive than it is. I will definitely stay here again and at other Motel One hotels in the future.
Good price, great location
Ideal place to stay for a 1/2 night break! Extremely comfortable bed, great views, lovely and modern throughout. The room was a little small but this was fine for a short break - any longer would require some more storage/wardrobe space. The shower also had very low water pressure. Aside from this though we had an excellent stay and would definitely stay with motel pjs again!
Fantastic stay as always. Location is excellent, good value for money, clean, and staff are friendly. Parking is the only issue, previously offered a discount at a local car park but it didn’t work this time.
I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now and I think I always will whenever I’m in Manchester. Each time I’ve been the staff have been so welcoming and friendly, nothing was ever too much trouble for them to do. It was a smooth and quick check in but didn’t feel rushed at all, the reception staff made time to ask about plans and give recommendations all whilst helping us with check in. The rooms were absolutely immaculate and not a thing was out of place, the only thing I would say about the room is maybe having mugs instead of paper cups but I understand this is probably for eco-friendly reasons or for ease of cleaning staff so isn’t a massive deal! The location of this hotel is perfect as well so close to the tram stop and shopping centre but also a short walk to other places nearby.

Our Motel One Manchester-Royal Exchange is designed with a trendy faux-industrial look in memory of Manchester’s golden era when it was known as “Cottonopolis”: all about cotton as a raw material and its processing. The foyer is dominated by six-metre high round steel arches and a wall of printed cloth, as a foretaste of our theme. Furniture by Baxter and hanging lamps by Alturo Alvarez are complemented by details such as spools of thread and spinning machines.
The main eye-catcher is a wall installation entitled "Cottonopolis" by paper artist Andy Singleton, composed entirely of shapes cast by innumerable single threads.
